I’ve decided to offer a better radon testing service to my clients. I have invested in continuous radon monitors for radon testing.
What are these?
It’s a machine I leave in the home, instead of canisters, that allows me to produce the result in an email report.
Why do this?
This will save the delay of shipping samples to a lab and waiting at their mercy for results, while the contingency period ticks away. The test period is still 48 hours, but then we all have the result right then. Additionally we will have a chart where we can see the radon level hour by hour for the test duration, instead of just a number. It will detect tampering and put it in the report as well.
These machines are a bit pricey, but the best service is what’s most important to me. Stay tuned for more info and upgrades to what I offer to my home inspection clients. I look forward to continuous improvement, and the continued offering the best service and experience possible.
